VINNAITHANDI VARUVAAYA

The designs have appeared in the newspapers and it looks very interesting. The important thing is that the ad does not carry the names of the technical crew or the director.

Simbu and Thrisha(Trisha) are the lead pair appeared in the ad. It may be recalled that Simbu and Goutham have announced that both will join hands soon in a film and that it may be Simbu’s next one.

So, it is confirmed that Simbu and Goutham would start their ad campaign in a different way. Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya has been produced under the banner of ‘escape artists motion pictures and r.s.infotainment pvt. ltd’.

Silambarasan and Gautham Menon are going to join hands for the first time in their upcoming movie Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. Simbu riding on the success of Silambattam, is said to be paired with Trisha. This will be second appearance of Simbu with Trisha after the movie, Alai.

This movie will be a romantic story, which also said to be a very different love story.

From the movie still above, it said that the theme was based on Prabhu Deva and Kajol hit movie Minsarakanavu from the song Vennilave Vennilave… Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya. In that song, there is a scene where both hero and heroin dancing under the moonlight.

Simbu, after his superhit 'Silambattam', is making an earnest attempt at an image makeover: From that of an action star to a romantic hero. The tile is from the superhit song, "Vennilave..." from Rajiv Menon's 'Minsarakkanabvu', that starred Prabhu Deva and Kajol. Trisha is Simbu's heroine in this film.

After a decent movie ‘Vaaranam Aayiram’ with Surya, Sameera Reddy, Simran and Divya, Goutham Menan decided to work with Silambarasan and Trisha for his next project ‘Vinnaithandi Varuvaaya’.

“I’ve grown my hair, tonsured my head, built my physique through gym visits, and tired of all that, have been waiting eagerly for a good story. That was when Gautham sir offered me ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’ and this romantic story is such that one feels like the delicate tickle of a peacock feather. On hearing the story, I thanked Gautham sir with a heartfelt gratitiude,” says Silambarasan.

“Till now, I’ve not done a story that a woman likes. This film would take away that drawback. There are no needless mannerisms or get-ups and I act as my normal self. That would be new for me. Gautham sir’s direction style is unique. We would have our own imagination of a particular scene, but when Gautham sir acts it out for us, it takes on a different dimension. He is so clear in his thoughts, and the training he gives is perfect. I have learnt from him that one should not seek out a hero image. The shooting is to take place in Chennai as well as New York,” says Silambarasan.

“Of course! Trisha looks beautiful in the film. Though I have interacted with Trisha over the years, only now are we talking properly to each other. After initial hesitation, we discuss about how we could develop a character before giving the scene. Gautham is a reason for this too,” says and ends Silambarsan.

However, Silambarasan is known for his unwanted interferences in the scripts and clashes with directors. We also know that Gautham Menan is one of the best directors in Tamil Film Industry who have proved himself in his previous projects which includes Kamal Hassans ‘Vettayadu Vilayadu” will not allow any kind of interference in his script and direction. We hope the movie will hit the theatres without any difficulties for the producer.

Seems like Silambarasan is really bored of playing ‘Kettavan’ in films! Considering an image change now, the actor has gone in for a soft spoken assistant director’s role in ‘Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya’, in which he pairs with Trisha for the second time after ‘Alai’. The movie is directed by Gautham Menon and is said to be candy floss romance like ‘Minnale’. AR Rahman composes the music for the film.

Following this, the actor is said to have signed up for another romantic film for youngsters, titled ‘Kadhalaanavan’. Either NIC Arts or Silambarasan will be producing it. The film, if gossip mills are to believed, will also be directed by him. The actor had also announced that he would be part of ‘Poda Podi’, in which he is paired with Varalakshmi Sarath Kumar. The film is said to be shot entirely in Canada, and the actor had announced that he would move to this project later this year.

Following these two, the actor has also agreed to work for a film with debutant Pandian, ‘Varusanaadu’. And yes, with all these projects announced, discussed or guessed it looks like his film ‘Kettavan’ is being junked by the actor.
